Do you have a space with no purpose except a place to dump all the stuff you don't want to deal with? Declutter and re-purpose!
Look at this great space with a wrapping station and a Peloton for your workouts!
Now there is a quiet, clean space for the client to work on writing her book!
This large closet in the basement became the "throw it in there" space when the client did not have a home for items like old backpacks, wrapping paper and boxes, shoes with no match, and things to be discarded and/or recycled.
The closet has now been repurposed as a wine cellar / storage area.
The client has a passion for wine and a growing collection. Previously, wine was stored in several locations around the house, but now it's all together and nicely displayed.
The client installed wall mounted racks for individual bottles as well as a shelves for larger format bottles and Champagne in display boxes.
Organized by varietal, it's much easier now to find the right bottle for dinner or know what you have for that special occasion.
Mud rooms can become the repository place for everything - not just shoes/boots/backpacks/etc. This client wanted to declutter and have a clean welcoming space when they entered or exited the home from outside and the garage.
We pared down what was not necessary and added new puppy essentials for 'walkies' and food. Kids have a place to store rain and snow boots which can come off immediately upon entry!
Entry closets are another area that become overrun with miscellaneous things. The client wanted space for winter coats and tennis gear. The shelves are used for kids craft kits that can be pulled out on a rainy day.
